No competition
After doing some research on the website, I called in and spoke with a specialist named Rich. He was helpful, super courteous, and one of the best customer service experiences I've had. He was able to get me 50sf more than my previous estimate for $10 less, and matched the move-in special that I was given from the other company. It was a no-brainer; I reserved right then. At the facility there were some discrepancies from what I was told on and what was physically there. My 24hr unit was not at the office location but down the street and did have a secure gate afterall. The staff at the facility were friendly and accommodating. My unit was the last of its kind and from what I understand from the staff, had been auctioned and not completely cleared out. There were some items still in my unit, which I then became responsible for cleaning out if I wanted to rent it. I agreed to this as it's really not that big of a deal to me and there wasn't much in there, but just seemed to be an usual occurrence. Despite that oddity, all in all, 10 out of 10. *Edit* Ran into a small amount of trouble following the repair of the entrance gate at or 24 hour facility. We arrived in the late evening to find our code did not work at the gate. It was the first time we had even gotten to try it since the gate had been broken. It seems that either it became obsolete during the repair process, or was never truly programmed due to the malfunction itself. If course we couldn't have it even looked at until the following day. Had it not been for the quick, over-the-phone resolution given by the Sorrento Drive staff, might have lost a star on that one. Still thrilled with our experience so far!
