Public Storage Experience
The sign-up process was active and fairly straight forward. There sort of is a lot of information coming at me at once, however, I felt my move-in process was very fluent and simple. My unit was not well kept to my standards, yet the facility felt legit. My rate also went down the first few months in, so I was pleased to stick it out.

On line can be confusing. Best if you can meet in person to assure access.
Move in pricing was higher than anticipated. Administration fee plus must purchase a lock from Public Storage. No body was at the facility during their normal business hours. Once able to gain entrance spent more time driving throughout the facility looking for my assigned storage locker. Things don't always go as smooth as we would like but at the end of the day I was able to access the locker. Albeit, a little frustrated.

1 worker, and I had an appointment time, when I arrived the worker was one the phone so I had to wait and then after the phone call was finished and when I was speaking with the worker about what type of storage units were available and getting prices, someone walked in I was told I had to wait again so he could assist someone else. So my appointment time was not an actual appointment time since I was basically pushed aside since there was only 1 worker. I do understand everyone needs help but I arrived on time to my appointment and felt I should have had someone 1:1 without interruptions as I cleared my schedule to come in sooner then I had originally requested.

Very Frustrating On-Line Booking System!!!
I booked a 10x20 climate controlled unit on-line - 15 days prior to needing the unit. I received a confirmation e-mail. I received another e-mail saying that "I'll see you tomorrow" although my move-in date was not tomorrow. I received a voice mail asking me to call/come in to confirm my interest (I physically visited the location to confirm my interest), only to be called a couple of days later saying there was no 10x20 climate controlled units available - this is days before my move - YIKES and PANIC!!! After several calls, no resolve. Long story short, I ended up with a 10x20 outdoor unit - to house my furniture - not happy with that. A few hours after I moved in it start raining, the eves troughs leak, and water was pouring down in front of the doors of many units, which drained in front of my unit, making me worry that my furniture may be subject to dampness, not happy with that. The only person who was helpful was Chris Elliot - without his help I could not have sorted this out or completed my move.

Too expensive
The registration process went all right. I just feel that the monthly rental rate is a little bit too high. I also feel that some of the up front fees excluding the monthly insurance are unnecessary and just another way for you people to make money (e.g., the administrative fee). We're working to get the stuff we have with you into our garage and thus intend to be out of your storage unit before the beginning of March. If the rate was lower, we might stay another month but $68 is just too high.
